Polyamorous NYC wants your help for the Poly Pride Picnic + Rally.

There are multiple ways you can help:

We're seeking financial donations specifically targeted to the support of Poly Pride Weekend for this year and future years. If you're interested in making a donation to Polyamorous NYC's general fund or Poly Pride Day specifically, please email Justen at to discuss tax deduction eligibility and logistic arrangements.

We're seeking housing for speakers and performers coming from out of town. If you have housing available, please email Patrick and let us know how many people you can host, and how many nights (Friday only? Saturday only? Both? Sunday night?) Also let us know about any restrictions you have on smoking, and anything potential guests should know about smoking or pets.

We're seeking short stories about coming out as poly for performance at the rally. If you're interested in submitting your story, please email the Editors and follow these guidelines:

Polyamorous NYC hosts the annual Poly Pride Picnic + Rally on the weekend just before or on National Coming Out Day. For our ninth annual Picnic + Rally, we want to tell the Poly stories of Polyamorous NYC members and Picnic + Rally participants!

In between the performances and speakers, our master of ceremonies will read a variety of short true stories about coming our as polyamorous and living and loving polyamorously.

If you have a great short story about coming out poly, please submit it for consideration! It needs to be 250 words or less, and please let us know if you would like to be identified by full name or first name only when your piece is performed. The deadline for submissions is 12 a.m. Monday, October 5th so our editors have time to choose the works that will be read. Sorry, we cannot guarantee that your work will be performed, but we will try to let you know in advance if your selection is chosen.

Copyright: By submitting your story, you are assuring that you are not violating anyone else's copyright. You are also giving Polyamorous NYC the rights to perform your story, in whole or in part, at Poly Pride Day, and that the performance may be recorded, transcribed, and published online or in print after the fact. You understand that Polyamorous NYC is not offering any payment for your submission, its use, or its reproduction.

If you have a short, 250 words or less excerpt from poly literature that is NOT your own, you can also submit it for possible performance. The deadline for these submissions is also 12 a.m. Monday, October 5th and we also need the name of the publication and author. Please Include:

- Your Email (Person Recommending the Piece)
- Poly Excerpt You Recommend

We're seeking volunteers to help make Poly Pride a success. If you are interested in helping to plan, or in volunteering to help on the day of the event, please email Justen.

Invite your friends The Poly Pride Picnic+Rally is not just a fun, free concert in Central Park. With great speakers from a wide range of backgrounds, it is a great opportunity to bring your friends who are less familiar with polyamory, to spark discussion and foster understanding.
