Scheduled Presenters include:

  • Jaime Grant
    Jaime is the Director of the Policy Institute at the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, and holds a Ph. D. in Women's Studies from the Union Institute where she studied with Minnie Bruce Pratt, Barbara Smith and queer historian John D'Emilio. Her articles on transformational organizations and coalition work have been published in major academic journals and anthologies.

  • Jack Harrison
    Jack Harrison is a gay male Latino sex-positive activist who has previously presented at conferences including Creating Change and the IVY-Q. He is a graduate student in Communication, Culture, and Technology at Georgetown University and a current Urvashi Vaid Fellow with the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force Policy Institute.

  • Asha Leong
    Asha Leong has always been a southern belle at heart and lives in Atlanta, GA. Asha is the product of many parents, is proud queerspawn, and above all loves her international family. Asha identifies as a queer, Femme, multi-racial, and immigrant. At heart, Asha is a community organizer with a passion for social justice who has spent a decade organizing for queer allied communities. When not rabble rousing with the queers, Asha indulges her artistic side through writing, dancing, and performance art. Asha is proud to be published in the book Visible: Femmethology a celebration of Femme identity. Asha's true passion is sexual liberation for queers, people of color and youth.

  • Rob Lyons
    Rob Lyons, CPA, is a Managing Tax Director in the Nonprofit and Government Services Group at Marks Paneth & Shron LLP. Mr. Lyons brings to this role the skills he has developed during more than 30 years of providing tax and consulting services to his clients in the nonprofit, higher education, and public sector industries. His experience includes handling substantial exempt organization tax issues. Mr. Lyons has testified in front of the House and Ways Committee in Washington, D.C. establishing the current treatment of affinity royalty arrangements. He has also been involved in special projects related to unrelated business income for exempt organizations, including but not limited to state filing issues, including settlements, foreign filing requirements for off-shore activities and use of exempt bond proceeds. Mr. Lyons has advised clients on the use of for profit subsidiaries as well as disregarded entities. He has led numerous training seminars for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and served as an adjunct professor in the Kogod School of Business Graduate Department at American University in Washington, DC. He has also authored six books and forty articles to date concerning exempt organization issues.

  • Susan Wright
    Susan Wright is the spokesperson for the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom, which she founded in 1997. Susan coordinated the SM Policy Reform Project for the National Organization for Women which resulted in rescinding their anti-SM policy in 1999, and created the SM vs. Abuse policy statement through LLC, 1997-98. Susan is a member of the organizing committee for the Smarter Sex NYC, the Sex Positive Journalism Awards (Sexies), and the advocacy committee for the American Association for Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists.
